Ludwig²a new German musical created by an international team of directors and composers. The show had its world premiere in the Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein theatre in Füssen on 11 March 2005, surrounded by the picturesque beauty of the Allgäu Alps and the famous Neuschwanstein Castle.

"Ruine of Ehrnberg" - It was first mentioned 
in a document in 1293. It can be easily reached within an hour, starting at the inns "Gasthof Waldrast" or "Gasthof Klause". In the evening the castle is also illuminated. Various benchs invite the visitor to relax in the garden of the castle.
